Refund Policy

Effective January 1, 2026

At Prosperity Home Health Care, LLC. , we are committed to providing quality and compassionate home health care services. We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise requiring the termination of services. The following outlines our refund policy in accordance with the laws and consumer protection guidelines of the State of Georgia.

  1. Notice of Termination
    Either party may terminate the service agreement by providing written notice in accordance with the terms stated in the Service Agreement. The effective date of termination shall be the date such written notice is received by our office.

  2. Prorated Refunds
    In the event of termination of services by either party for reasons other than the client’s death, any prepaid fees shall be refunded on a prorated, daily basis, calculated from the date of termination notice. Only unused days of service will be considered for refund eligibility.

  3. Refund in the Event of Death
    If the client passes away within seven (7) days after the start of service, a 50% refund of the initial payment will be issued to the client’s designated representative or estate. Refund processing shall begin after receipt of a written notice of death and required documentation.

  4. Non-Refundable Fees
    Any administrative, assessment, or enrollment fees paid at the start of service are non-refundable, unless otherwise required by law.

  5. Processing of Refunds
    Refunds will be processed within fourteen (14) business days of approved termination notice and determination of the eligible amount. Refunds will be issued by check or to the original method of payment.

  6. Compliance with Georgia Law
    This refund policy is structured in accordance with applicable Georgia laws governing home health care and consumer contracts. Prosperity Home Health Care, LLC. reserves the right to amend this policy to remain compliant with any new state or federal regulations.
